Arianna Lelli Mami
A Milanese designer and architect, after studying at the Politecnico di Milano and in London, she co-founded Studiopepe in 2006, which specialises in design and architecture projects on an international scale.
At the same time, she continues her artistic exploration in the field of visual research, creating photographs with her analogue SLR camera and collages, always using the photographic medium and vintage papers.
Since 2019, she has been exploring the world of ceramics, fascinated by archetypal objects and symbols linked to various cultures, and has embarked on a journey of both theoretical and formal research in these fields. She is currently pursuing research projects that combine collage and ceramics to depict her personal universe, populated by signs, traces, lived-in spaces and objets trouvés.
ALM arrived at her artistic practice through studies in architecture and design. Her work was first presented within the framework of Studiopepe, the Milan-based design studio she co-founded in 2006. Through her work, the artist aims to extract the eternal symbols of humanity that lie latent in the unconscious, developing them and giving them form.
